Pet care experience
Hey there, I am new to Columbia and am available to take care of your pets! I’ve had every type of pet you can imagine growing up (snakes, rats, even a deer!), so I’m well-versed in all things animals! I have trained all of my pets growing up, so puppies who are still learning are welcome and I will be happy to practice commands that you are in the process of teaching. Additionally, I have experience with senior dogs as well, so I am comfortable with providing any oral or topical medications and some gentler care. :)

Our dogs love her and had a great time. The house is spotless. Kelsey is fantastic.
Kelsey took care of our elderly kitties while we were out of town and she was awesome! She is so meticulous with making sure all their needs were met and sent lots of sweet photos of them. Highly recommend her for drop in pet care!!
Kelsey was wonderful! We were passing through for a funeral and she met us to take the dogs because we had been driving for 15 hours. She took them on multiple walks and sent us pictures periodically. Highly recommend!
Kelsey is absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately our cat became ill while we were gone and Kelsey was able to find some additional time to take him to the vet and by the time we got back a few days later he was much better. Thank you so much Kelsey!

I have a 4-legged roommate of my own, Bailey. Bailey is a 7 year old, 40lbs terrier mix. She has been socialized from a young age, so she can get along with just about anyone. That being said, if you decide to let me watch your pets, any time our dogs are home alone together, they will either be crated separately or put in 2 different rooms. I want your pet to have a fun and SAFE experience when they stay with me! I live in a family-oriented, quiet neighborhood with lots of sidewalks and trails, so plenty of space for safe, leashed walks. Bailey and I also like to go to hiking trails, parks, markets, breweries, and restaurants, and your dog can come along as much (or as little) as they/you want!

A typical day
We love morning and evening walks in the neighborhood when it's cooler. We also try to visit a new location, like a hiking trail less than 1-2 hours away, once per month. Some of our favorite days also involve just being lazy at home!

I work with the university and usually have very flexible hours to check on/walk animals as often as needed throughout the day. On weekends, I'm very much a home body and will spend lots of time with your pup.
