Pet care experience
We have two elderly dogs and a puppy. I understand the distinct care that each stage requires. I’ve always had a dog since I know there’s nothing like the companionship they can give! I am a former puppy raiser for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. I have raised four future guide dogs.

When walking your dog, I’ll take care of them as I do my own. They will be securely collared/harnessed and clipped to the leash before heading outside. I’ll clean up messes and watch for other walkers and animals. If it’s hot, I’ll keep the walks short and paws off hot surfaces. I’ll make sure they’ve had water before I leave.

Please let me know of any special things that your pet likes or dislikes, if there is a certain way to meet/greet them. Also, if there are potential problems, I’d like to know that.
A typical day
I greet your dog, check the collar/harness and leash. We head out into your neighborhood, letting it sniff, go potty and look around. I talk to them, encouraging them along the way. I make sure I’m walking at a speed that works for them and complete our walk. If they still need more exercise or play, I throw the ball or tug toy in a fenced area.

Availability
I have a pretty flexible schedule, so I’m able to walk your dog when requested. For Doggy Daycare, I prefer puppies one year old and under. I feed my dogs early in the morning and again in the afternoon. I take my Frenchie for a walk in the morning while it’s cooler. I can do the same for you!
