Hi there! I'm currently a Cal Berkeley student living in the Berkeley area. Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, I gained experience caring for my parents’ large dogs and neighbors’ pets. I prefer texting, calling, or talking in person about opportunities! I'm interested in walking and house sitting. I love being outside, exercising, and playing with dogs. My husband and I currently have a chocolate lab, Diggy, so we’re used to frequent walks/runs and overall doggy love. If your dog is open for a doggy play date, Diggy would love to make a new friend. Otherwise, no worries if you’re dog isn’t so keen about other doggies- there are plenty of other ways to play! I'm very flexible this summer before the fall semester starts. I can stay at owners’ homes, returning during the day to walk/hang out with dogs between classes. In my experience, the more frequent walks and runs throughout the day, the healthier the pet is. With last dogs I’ve boarded or sat, these furry friends are never left alone for more than a few hours and can constantly be let outside. I hope to meet your furry friend soon! Pet care is definitely a daily routine for me. I wake up around 6am to get her out the door for a run or walk and to use the bathroom. I think the more frequent walks and runs throughout the day, the healthier the pet is. I ensure pets are in enclosed environments if they’re outside or on a leash if they’re walking/running with me. It’s nice that I can work or study from home, so keeping a constant watch on any pet/check in at least every 20-60 min is easy.
