Pet care experience
I love taking care of all pets but dogs are the absolute best creatures in the world! I especially have a special place in my heart for senior dogs and their little grey faces. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have cared for our family dog until 15 years old so I have a lot of senior dog experience with extra care, lifting, medications, and of course extra love. I’ve also adopted my own puppy in 2022 and trained and raised (lol) him on my own including walking him every 30 minutes when we were potty training so I can handle dogs on a leash including big dogs as he is 88 lbs now. I have been dog sitting for friends, family, and neighbors since I was 14 (14 years) and love the smallest of small dogs to huge fur babies!

My oh my! I’ve been having such a hard time finding anyone willing to walk Sis because she is a Pitbull. Or Charging me three times their normal amount. So happy Kelsey gave us a chance and available when I need. Couldn’t be more pleased!

I can handle dogs on a leash and can easily crate dogs. I’ve even had experience dog sitting dogs that do not get along and had to navigate keeping them separated while taking care of them. I try to avoid unnecessary situations such as playing/greeting other dogs while on walks since you never know the temperament of the other dog.

A typical day
I love playing fetch with the dogs and exploring all the smells on our walk! There will be plenty of belly rubs and “good boys/girls” compliments.

Availability
I work full-time in Lewes so I can easily pop in to let them out for potty and a quick play sesh during lunch or anytime before or after work. I usually pop in on my own dog at lunch just to get some midday snuggles. I am available most mornings and anytime in the evenings as well as weekends!
