Hello! My name is Kelsey. I have had dogs my entire life, so my love for them goes back as far as I can remember. I have volunteered at a rescue that also boards for past year and have noticed that sometimes when the boarders come in, especially ones that have been in the kennel life before, they are not at thrilled to be there. I thought if I opened my home to have dogs who don’t fare well in a kennel setting or whose “doggie parents” want them to stay in a more home feeling environment when they can’t be with them, that would be great! Having new friends come stay at our house would not be possible if I didn’t have two of the sweetest dogs ever. Ace and Ally have “grown up” going to daycare and being taken everywhere with me. They both seem to handle every dogs personality with ease. They are very gentle with puppies and both play with the cat like she is their best friend. I live in Broad Ripple, an incredibly dog friendly neighborhood. The Monon Trail is less than a half mile from my house, so I love to go for runs with the pups, if it's something they are comfortable with during their stay. My job allows for me to take nice long lunch breaks every day and my schedule is from 8-4, so that leaves a lot of time for playing and attention. If free roaming doesn’t work, the house includes separate spaces for pups to spend their time when I am away or rooms for a crate. The other non-furry resident of the house is equally as passionate about dogs as I am and loves to play ball or chase out in the fenced in back yard. He is also a big participant in the walks we go on :) I only ask that any dog or cat over 6 months of age must be spayed/neutered and up to date on their vaccines. P.S Everyone is allowed on the furniture, cuddles are always appreciated!
