Pet care experience
Over the last several years I have been entrusted by many family, friends and coworkers to look after their cats/dogs while they are away. This is something I’ve done for many years as I find so much fulfilment as I truly love to spend time with animals and it’s a nice treat for me to get out of my own home !

At my home I have a fully fenced in yard with half the yard as a dog run, I personally bathe and groom my 2 big dogs and make sure they have lots of treats. They go for runs on the grid roads for exercise. I have had multiple cats throughout my life and was always diligent about cleaning their litter and making sure they also have treats and cuddles. When caring for other peoples pets I follow strict instructions in diet, exercise regime, behavioural needs and make sure I spend a lot of quality time with the animals, making sure they feel safe, happy and loved! I also love to take pictures and videos and send them to the owners

If your dog has any behaviours that could be challenging, if your animal is an escape artist and how to get them back in the house if they do get out and any specific food allergies or preferences
A typical day
I like to go for walks around the neighbourhood, play fetch in the yard, I enjoy just sitting outside with the dogs and enjoying the nice weather !

Availability
I work as a social worker and my work hours are Monday to Fridays 8am-5pm, with evenings and weekends off ! If this schedule works for your animals then I would make a great fit! If they require more time during the day I totally understand!
