Pet care experience
If 'Professional Dog Lover' was a career option, you can bet your bottom dollar I'd have a degree in it. But since it's not, I've settled for the next best thing! With over 13 years of pet care experience under my belt, it would be my honor to care for and love on your fur babies while you're away from home. I grew up with a Jack Russel and a Westie, and am currently a dog mom to the sweetest 4 year old Border Collie Mix. Over the years I have cared for dogs big and small, young and old, and have experience administering oral medications. I was also a trained volunteer at the Idaho Humane Society throughout the five years that I lived there. Whatever your dog needs, it is my goal to make sure they are happy and comfortable. I will maintain any schedules you might have and will make sure your dog gets extra love during your time apart. I currently cannot accept any dogs into my home for day care or boarding, though I have evenings and weekends available for walks and drop-in visits.

Kelsey did an awesome job taking care of our pups and kitty! The air was horrible outside with smoke from the fires yet she still kept the dogs entertained and played with them inside. All three of our dogs had some sort of medication to take and Kelsey never missed a beat. Everyone was healthy and happy when we returned. We will definitely use her again.

Loved our experience with Kelsey house-sitting with our Luna while we were away for the evening. Her love of animals is readily apparent and Luna took to her right away. Kelsey is very friendly, as well as professional and flexible, and we’re so fortunate that she was available to us on short notice. Kelsey did an awesome job taking care our puppy and two older dogs. She came by exactly when she said she would and tired them all out with walks and playing. Each time she dropped in, she sent us pics and you could tell they were having fun by their smiles. We'll definitely be using her to pet sit again!

A typical day
My dog and I love to spend time on the American River Bike Trail, either making our way down to the river or up to the lake. We walk, run, swim and make friends with everyone we meet along the way! We also love to take trips to the dog park and frequently snuggle on the couch for some down time. Whatever your dog needs, whether its plenty of exercise or an excess of snuggles, you can count on me to make sure they are happy, healthy and loved while you're away.
