I have always had dogs in my life as pets and treat them like family. My job is animal care focused and I look forward to adding more opportunities to care for animals in my free time.

Kelsey is an exemplary caregiver. She has been around my dog since she was first brought home, and has provided nothing but superb care. She has provided overnight care in addition to walks, and throughout each has been communicative, attentive and trustworthy. I have a lot of experience with caring for my own dogs daily needs as well as walks. I’m qualified with reading animals behavior and knowing when they are showing signs of excitement or discomfort. I have a background with a variety of animals, I’m comfortable with positive reinforcement training methods and I’m able to go on walks with a range of time needs.
Information Kelsey M. would like to know about your pet
I would like to be aware of any triggers or reactivity your dog may have to outside stimulants so I can be prepared for any situation that may come about during a walk. If your dog has any allergies to treats or anything they like/don’t like to do on walks (ex: crossing streets, running, sniff spots).
A typical day
When I’m walking my personal dogs I like to let them sniff a lot of places and things so they can gather the information that is there for them. I have a lot of enrichment ideas both food based and non food based that will encourage mental stimulation. I also enjoy teaching simple commands to get the dogs thinking and it’s a different way to offer food as reward instead of just in a bowl.

I work an animal care based job 40hrs a week and I’m looking forward to filling some time with more animal opportunities. I love surrounding myself with new furry friends.
