I live with my fiancé who is 29 and also a pet lover. He drives trucks during the evenings but is also home most of the day. I have a stepdaughter who is with us on the weekends and Mondays who is 6 and does so well with the pets. They all have their own nickname from her and she is always playing with them. Our older dog Finley is a year and a half old and has played well with dozens of dogs that he’s met. He is laid back and just likes to play ball all day. Our younger dog Hobbs is 6 months old. He is more shy to new people and dogs but warms up and plays too or hangs out with the adults. Neither dog has ever had an issue with another dog or person and have not shown aggression. We live on about an acre and spend lots of time outside. Finley and I run together multiple times per week and both dogs and the family walk multiple times per week. We find new places to hike often as well. They have endless amounts of toys and bed around the house. Finley is a rescue, 50 lbs. lab/shepherd mix we think. Hobbs is 20 lbs. so far and is a rescue boxer/lab mix we think. We have 2 cats that keep to themselves. They have their own space in the whole basement (partially finished) that the dogs do not have access to, but they are typically found sitting on one of the cat trees around or sitting with one of us!
