Five stars doesn't quite do it justice - Kelsey was so wonderful and I give so many thanks (cause it was over Thanksgiving, get it?) for how well cared for and loved Max was over eight days. Is Max the best and easiest dog ever? I mean of course, but that means I'm gonna be a little extra stressed about him getting the Ritz Carlton treatment. Kelsey was communicative, welcoming, dedicated to her delightful doggie Daphne, and ever so attentive to loving Max. We'd had a weird twist where my parents would've watched Max instead if my niece was born a little early and they'd be back in town in time. Kelsey was easy going about talking through options and setting up a meet and greet only a few days before we were to leave, and made me feel so reassured that Max would get the individual attention he prefers. We received pictures and updates every day with Max lounging and playing, clearly comfortable with his new surroundings and hosts. Kelsey didn't brag about this but credit to her for taking the time and effort to actually learn Max's personality and meet him where he needed, and make him feel safe. The pictures and communication told a story of a dog who missed his people at first, but was quickly won over by someone who would both make sure he was always warm and cozy (his first request) or making new dog friends (his second), and having and nice easy schedule. He's now back with us resting happily without an ounce of stress from being away from home, which I can only attribute to Kelsey. Truly beyond what I hoped for when looking for a host.
