Pet care experience
I work 3 days a week from home and have a pretty flexible schedule. I love to stay active and be outside! My husband and I love spending time with doggies and have a great yard for it! Although it is not fully fenced we do have a large backyard with lots of room to play with your pups! We live within walking distance to the trails in Prineville and a dog park. When we’re not working you can find us hiking or exploring new parts of Oregon. We both grew up always having a dog to take care of and in my adult life I have done a handful of pet sitting jobs through local companies similar to Rover and for friends. If you choose to select me for your pet sitting needs I will take great care of your animals! I WILL NOT GIVE MEDICATION UNLESS IT IS A SIMPLE ORAL PILL.

Kelsey and her husband were awesome! She sent me updates and pictures and gave me peace of mind leaving Buddy with her!
We left our dog with Kelsey for several days and when we returned we found him to be relaxed and happy. Communicated well regarding pickup/dropoff and was flexible with scheduling. Normally after leaving our dog with anyone he's a mess by the time we return, but this time it seemed he hardly missed us! Highly recommended.
Kelsey did an amazing job watching our Aussie! She made sure she was exercised, comfortable, and would send me consistent updates and pictures. Highly recommend!

I have experience with crate training a previous dog that lived with us for a period of time so I am comfortable with crates. Although our yard is not fully fenced we do have a partially fenced back yard that is very large and perfect for playing with your pets!

We will not accept dogs that are not house trained and we would prefer dogs that already know some commands. We are very open to accept dogs that are young or older!
A typical day
I love going on walks periodically throughout my workday so it will be easy to include your dog on those! When I am not working from home I love to go to the trails around Prineville and there are usually other dogs there as well.
