I have loved animals since I can remember, we always had cats, dogs, horses, chickens, ducks, and the occasional sheep or pig raised for the fair. Those experiences gave me a great understanding of animal care and responsibilities. I would love to host your fur-babies in my home (or come to yours). It’s just my husband and I and our two very active Idaho Shag dogs Odie and Pickles that are basically my children. Odie’s whole personality revolves around THE BALL so lots of fetch, outdoor time, going for walks, belly scratches, and treats happen in our house. I can accommodate whatever your dog is used to make their stay as stress free as possible and will ask you for any do’s and don’ts for their care, activity level, and training. I am experienced giving medications orally or intravenously, senior dog care, grooming and training.

We absolutely loved leaving our fur babies with Kelsey H. Our dogs were so happy and had so much fun while we were away! They were tired after all the running and playing! Kelsey was wonderful! She had great communication and sent us lots of updates. Her house has an awesome fenced yard and our pup was very happy there. Would definitely recommend and will use her again next time!

I own two very active Idaho Shag dogs, Odie an Pickles. They are free to roam in the home and on furniture, but also have a crate available for your pet if needed, or can crate mine. We are on a 2 acre, mostly fenced property adjacent to horse pastures If your pet has issues with livestock, or wanders please let me know and I can adjust my care as needed.

I do prefer a meet and greet ahead of time to know your dogs will be a good fit with mine as they will be alone in the house for up to 4 hours at a time. Or a scheduled drop off when I know I'll be home for an extended period to monitor. My boys can be quite excited for the initial greeting, but once that's out of the way they are ready to play. I will ask you for any do’s and don’ts for their care, activity level, and training.
A typical day
Our property boarders a wildlife preserve that we go for walks on several times a week and would bring your dog along if you are comfortable with that. We also shoot for a weekly longer walk at Herron Park, Lone Pine, or a hike in the summer. My dogs are high energy so there is lots of playing, fetch, walks, and outdoor time.

Availability
I do work a traditional 9-5pm job in a professional setting, but am very flexible, and go home for mid-day breaks. My schedule in the evening and weekend is flexible, just message me to see if I can accommodate.
