I’m an avid dog lover and volunteer for a local rescue where I have fostered many dogs to get them ready for adoption! I also have two of my own who I love and adore. I have taken care of all types of dogs and different personalities in my many years owning and rescuing! My dogs are treated as family and yours will be too while you’re away!

I have never met someone who loves dogs as much as kelsey. Ever. Not only does she treat her own dogs with the most excellent care and love but every dog we see she falls in love with. Every dog we see is a “good boy”. Kelsey would be the best dog sitter.
Of all the people I know, I don't know anyone who LOVES dogs more than Kelsey! Dogs have this natural attraction to Kelsey, even dogs she doesn't know or has never met before. They can sense her love. She has been my dog babysitter for 5 years now and I never have to worry when I leave them in her care. There is never a doubt that they're well taken care of. I highly recommend Kelsey! :)

I am well qualified to administer any medication, walk any size of dog, and give any other special care that may be necessary. Aside from any special requests, they will be loved with lots of attention and awareness to their needs. If you are planning on boarding at my house, we do best with pups who are more on the mellow side and don’t mind giving the resident pups of the home some space due to the senior boy in the home who is a bit frail these days. Regardless, the other pups do get along well and enjoy new friends coming to stay as long as they don’t play too rough! :)

If the dog is being boarded, we like to know about their energy levels! This better helps me plan for what accommodations I’ll need to provide for an active dog! And of course the pups normal schedule, medicine, allergies, etc. I am willing to take dogs with behavioral issues as long as I’m aware of what those are and can take proper measures for the resident dogs here as well.
A typical day
A typical day in our home involves waking up with scratches and pets on the bed, enjoying some breakfast, letting the tummies settle, and then heading out for a walk! From there, the dogs are welcome to safely roam the house, help themselves to the toy box (which is sanitized between every stay), take a rest whenever they please, or help themselves to the backyard through the dog door which is safely fenced and enclosed. They’ll eat dinner and either go for another walk, or car rides too if the pups enjoy that! We are of course accommodating to any schedule of any pup where we may need to shift our “normal” day around.
