I initially came to New York upon acceptance into college; but now I'm proud to say I've since graduated and acquired a place of my own! I attended a performing arts college that had very rigorous courses, so finding a job wasn't easy. I would have short 1-2 hour breaks several times throughout my day but otherwise was there open to close. I started up with Rover, just walks at first, seeing how I was living in the dorms, which worked perfectly with my schedule. I now do walks, drop in visits, and overnights but in your home only. No boarding in my home for I recently adopted two kitties. I have had 3+ years experience with Rover and have since found all the best doggie parks in Manhattan, not to mention I take the best photos :) I've worked with animals my whole life starting when I was 12 at my aunt's dog kennel. There I would help with obedience classes, kennel clean up, feeding, bathing, and walks. Throughout high school I volunteered at my locate Humane Society. I also volunteered at an animal rescue center, Paws Critters Crossing, where we took in stray dogs, cats, and other animals including foxes and wolves but not limited to. I also raised over $5,000 for an organization called Vest-A-Dog, where money is donated to buy bulletproof vests for police working K9s. I have always been very passionate when it comes to animals therefore I strongly support animal rights and I do not tolerate animal cruelty.
