Pet care experience
In addition to growing up my whole life with multiple breeds of dogs and having my own current rescue dog, I have fostered almost 20 dogs in the last 2 years, of multiple age groups and needs. I have worked with dogs who need a lot structure and crate and rotate style, dogs nervous and reactive of strangers, and dogs who get along with everyone. I have worked with small and large breeds, some flight risk dogs. I have knowledge in gentle leader, halti, ecollar, prong collar, and harnesses. I have also dog sat overnight and assisted during the day for multiple clients and fellow fosters in the past several years. I am home multiple days of the week (not all) as well as weekends and am able to be somewhat flexible during the weekdays I’m home. I also have experience with cats, lizards, snakes, fish, small fuzzy animals, etc.

Kelsey is the best! Both of my boys (Toby, an orange tabby cat, and Marley, an 85 lbs black lab mix) are her biggest fans.
Although Geordi follows me from room to room at home, he wasn't particularly overjoyed to see me return. This was his second visit here and, once again, many thanks to Kelsey and AJ!
I have 2 fur babies and they are like my children. Kelsey has been my sitter the last 2 months and she is amazing. When I come home I can tell they are well taken care of and very content. I am very thankful for Kelsey, her professionalism, and her genuine love of animals.
I've known Kelsey for a couple of years now through LHK9 Rescue. She took care of my two pups during a busy time in December when I made a last minute trip and I will say, I had no doubt my dogs would be loved and taken care of. Kelsey is the epitome of an animal lover! She has been a good friend and incredible support when I was new to fostering dogs through LHK9. That made it an easy decision to leave my kiddos with her! For anyone looking for a dog sitter, Kelsey is your girl. People like Kelsey foster dogs because they have a true passion for caring for them so it goes without saying that they will look after ALL kinds of dogs. Have no hesitation that your pups will have the time of their life and you will always be updated with cute pics and will know about their well being. A typical day
I love to take my dogs hiking, walking on the rail trail, through cemeteries, and downtown, as well as just locally around the block. I prefer to take the routes that the dogs are more comfortable on, for example - side streets in residential areas to avoid trucks and loud noises. I have a fenced in back yard with a six foot fence for when pups stay with me, and plenty of space to comfortably provide room for a crate indoors.
