Hi I’m Kelsey! I’m currently a student at Indiana University Southeast working towards a bachelor of science degree in Biology. After I’m finished with that I plan on going to vet school because taking care of animals has always been a huge part of my life. When I was 12 years old my father reached out to several animal shelters and rescues and got me involved. Shortly after, I started volunteering with Southern Indiana Animal Rescue and I stayed working with them for 4 years. Through the rescue and various shelters I began fostering dogs that were looking for homes and did not mend well with a shelter environment. Over the years I have fostered dozens of animals from dogs, cats, rabbits, etc. I also began dog sitting at a young age. I started with dogs in my neighborhood and then it slowly grew into a small business/hobby and now I am a sitter for anyone in the southern Indiana/ Louisville area. I have worked with various breeds, sizes, and behaviors. I also have experience with dogs with disabilities, allergies, and illnesses. I know how to administer shots and medicine if needed.
