Pet care experience
Being around dogs my entire life, I know how important they are to each family. I have had four dogs in my family - all different breeds, sizes, and personalities. Every dog is different, but full of love! After moving away from my family, and my two dogs, I am missing that part of my life. I am unable to have a dog in my apartment building, so I would love to have the opportunity to care for yours. I am a trusted dog sitter and walker for many friends and colleagues in Dubuque and have had experiences with both small and large dogs and various age ranges. Kelsey is a fabulous pet sitter. She has cared for our cats and dog several times. All animals are older and one of the cats and the dog take medicine (pills and liquid) and Kelsey has been great about giving those (the cat's not always easy!). Kelsey gets up early to walk our older dog before work so it's not as hot out and has sometimes taken her to different paths/trails to get some new scenery on a walk. Our house is always spotless when we get back and the bed sheets are always washed. I highly recommend Kelsey as a pet sitter. I feel comfortable leaving our pets and house in her care when we're out of town and know that she will send me updates while we're gone.
Kelsey has stayed with our dog, Milo, on several occasions now. He is a small dog that loves to have company and snuggles. She has managed all of his oral medications and meal times that have to be adjusted due to his meds. She sends pictures while we are gone and gives us updates as to what is happening with him. It is easy to tell when we return that he was also happy while we were gone. Would highly recommend to anyone!
Kelsey is extremely reliable and takes care of our pet as if he were her own. She goes above and beyond when she watches our dog and I can honestly say, our dog is probably loving all the extra love and attention. Kelsey does a wonderful job and it really makes being out of town that much easier when you know your animals are in good hands.
Kelsey was amazing with my 2 pups while we vacationed for 2 weeks! I never worried about the care they were getting and the updates she would send definitely gave me a peace of mind about my fur babies while we were away. I could definitely tell my pups were sad to see her go when the 2 weeks was up!
