Pet care experience
I have had animals since I was little. I have had dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish. I currently have a dog, 6 guinea pigs, a hamster, and a fish tank. I love all kinds of animals and I genuinely love spending time with them and taking care of them. It would be a dream to have a job caring for animals. I am also willing to walk dogs while they are in my care.

Kelsey and her husband are the best! They were so sweet to our dog, Merlin, and even treated him to a doggie friendly Thanksgiving dinner! They are conveniently located right off the freeway in Santaquin on your way down to St. George. You can tell they truly enjoy taking care of pets. Thanks Kelsey 😊

I have some caged animals like guinea pigs and hamsters, I would keep the doors closed to those rooms while your pet is here so there are no issues. I have a large crate in my shed that I can get out if I am watching an animal that needs to be in a crate. My yard is not fenced so I would need a harness or collar to take the dog out. I have plenty of leashes. I have a dog who enjoys playing with other dogs. I am not super sure how he handles cats however I would be fine with keeping him separated from the cats while they are here if needed. I have tons of dog toys and I try to keep the house as tidy as I can so there is no chance for an animal to get into anything they shouldn't.

It would be good to know if they are aggressive toward other people or other dogs and how far they can go on a walk. My dog is young and active so he can walk pretty far without a break but I know some dogs may not be able to. I am fine with taking breaks during walks as needed. If the dog is aggressive toward other dogs, please find a sitter that doesn’t have other dogs in the house.
A typical day
I try to take my dog on a walk daily, we have a park by our house that is just down the block so I like to walk around the block and then do a few laps around the park and let my dog run around (on leash) on the grass. I bring poop bags and water every time.

I work from home currently and have a second job at night but my husband would be home during that time. I would be home for daycare or boarding. As I said I do work during the day from home so I can do regular potty breaks.
