As a lifelong animal lover, I can promise your pet my genuine love and care. From my first dog at 5 years old, I've had a soft spot in my heart for any and every pet, understanding that pets are part of the family. I have a great deal of experience spending time with and caring for all types of dogs, ranging in size and breed, and of all ages, from puppy to senior. Part of this experience includes volunteering in an animal shelter, working primarily to socialize and walk the dogs. I not only have great confidence in my ability to walk, feed, bathe, and soothe your pets, but look forward to every chance I can to extend that love. In fact, I signed up for Rover to get to spend more time with dogs! I am an excellent communicator, and eager to stay connected with owners throughout the duration of my service in whatever form best suits their needs. Of particular note, I also understand the specialized needs of rescued or anxiety-prone dogs. I am a trustworthy and dependable person, looking forward to work with owners and pets from all walks of life. And speaking of walks, with my apartment only a 5 minute walk from Central Park, I can assure you, dogs boarding with me will get a lot of good Central Park walks and play time! I currently work from home and on a flexible schedule of my choosing, allowing the great advantage of staying by your pets and catering to special needs and requests. I am also a single young woman living by myself in an amenities apartment; I can schedule my days however I need, without the need to accommodate roommates' needs, and with the added assurance of 24/7 building support in the event of emergencies. Currently, I do not have any pets, so can give my assurance that my full attention and care will be given to your pet. I enjoy exercising and walking, so am excited to have a dog join in on these activities frequently and/or as much as your dog would like and need. I enjoy having dogs join me on the couch and in bed, whether in my own home or yours, but also respect rules and boundaries that pet owners would like to maintain.
