Pet care experience
I currently work a full time remote job in Tech Sales. I have experience working in a veterinary hospital and many years volunteering at animal shelters (specifically with dogs). Currently I volunteer every week at the Dumb Friends League so I have the opportunity to work with many different dogs of all sizes and behaviors. I am the ultimate animal lover and anyone that knows me knows I love any living creature!

Kelsey was great with my pup and went above and beyond! She was very flexible when my schedule changed and sent me updates throughout the stay. I felt very comfortable leaving my pup with someone who is such a dog lover!
My dog Callie is a big yellow lab who we've taken to a kennel before where she did not do well. We even had to come home early from vacation one year because she got sick there. The next year Kelsey watched our dog while we went on vacation and we couldn't have been happier with our choice to choose Kelsey over a kennel! Kelsey provided Callie with lots of love, fun, exercise and sent us tons of pictures! Callie loved it so much that sometimes we think she misses it. Kelsey clearly loves dogs and we will most certainly be having her watch our dog next vacation!!

I want to make sure I know the dog's behaviour around other dogs (most important). I want to know all of their medical needs (if any apply), what excites them whether that is play time, walks, hiking or just getting affection.
A typical day
I love to spend as much time outside as possible (especially when it's nice out)! I live less than a 10 minute walk to Sloans Lake so I love taking dogs on walks around that area and I love to explore other areas and parks nearby as well. Going on hikes is definitely a hue part of routine as long as the weather is nice enough outside and everyone is up for it. I love snuggles and playtime too!

Availability
I am able to spend most of my day with Finn (my dog). I am able to take him on multiple walks a day so he gets plenty of time outside and during the weekend we like to go hiking! I will be able to commit the same amount of time and attention while welcoming other dogs into my home.
