Pet care experience
As a kid I grew up with a variety of animal experiences from the pets I owned - chinchillas, bearded dragons (my mom had us catch crickets to feed it outside) fish, snakes, lizards, cats, and dogs. At 10yrs old I was training dogs in agility and obedience for 4H competitions and loved rescuing birds and squirrels. Now, my travels revolve around the excitement of seeing exotic animals in the wild. I think it’s safe to say I’m an animal enthusiast! I am also a pediatric ICU nurse. I have many skills in caring for the lives of humans and animals. I want the overall experience of my pet care to be stress free for the owner, with clear communication and reliability in keeping your loved animal safe while in my care.

Kelsey is great! She has been regularly walking our dog for the past few months and she is always communicative, friendly, and our dog absolutely loves her. He comes back tired and happy! Kelsey is very easy to work with and reliable. Would highly recommend!
Kelsey helped care for my yorkie puppy for months while I was teaching him to potty train and crate train and she has cared for multiple pets of her own including cats and dogs. She is a very caring and responsible person being a pediatric ICU nurse and has a passion for animals. She is sweet and fun and very easy to work with. I would trust her 100% with my pets and you should too! She is just the best!

A typical day
I love neighborhood walks or a familiar dog park the animal is comfortable with. We can cater to the animals’ likes but I love playing fetch, good pets and scratches, grooming, giving treats, and overall giving the animals attention and interaction.

Availability
I work 3-4 days a week as an RN with a rotating schedule of dayshift and nightshift. So my availability will vary weekly depending on the days I have off. When I am nightshift I should be able to fulfill any mornings. On dayshift I can fulfill pet care on the 3-4 days I have off that week.
