I am the “fur-mom” to two beautiful Siberian Husky rescue dogs. My entire life revolves around making sure I give those dogs the best lives possible! Going through the rescue process and training them afterwards was very eye opening and taught me a lot about how to properly care for dogs. When we rescued our sweet girl Ava she had been badly abused. She had terrible separation anxiety as well as trust issues. Showing her that our home was a safe space allows her to eventually open up to us to the point where she now loves and trusts us completely and is such a happy, wonderful dog. That experience deepened my appreciation for dogs and forced me to learn a lot about the proper way to train and care for dogs through high stress situations.
