Pet care experience
I am a young professional with 3 dogs and 1 horse. I was an experienced Director of CS & Operations at a company that recently closed, and am diving back into the pet care business while I search for my next career move. I have over 20 years experience with pet care including: dogs, cats, horses & other animals. I currently have a senior dog (14), a puppy (15ish months) and a middle child (5 years) so am comfortable with a wide range of pet needs including: medication, special care, 'difficult walkers' and excited babies. As a pet owner myself, who uses Rover, I prefer to communicate as much as possible unless otherwise requested. At this time I am available for drop in visits & walks only: as I hate staying away from my 3 too long- and 3 dogs in one household is plenty.

I can't say enough good things about Kelsey. The entire experience was excellent from start to finish. My big Lab Mix girl had the time of her life while staying with Kelsey and her pups! We had an initial meet and greet and all went well. I was so comfortable leaving my girl with Kelsey. While we were away we were in constant contact via text messages and pics! So GREAT! I will be using Kelsey again in the future...no doubt. Btw.....my pup was good and tired when she got home that she slept for 2 days. Kelsey was so accommodating to our last minute request for our dog's stay. Finn had a blast playing with Kelsey's other two dogs, so much so Finn was depressed when he came home! This was our first experience using Rover and with Kelsey and it was a great one! I would recommend her to anyone else!

Additionally, I can and do bathing/basic grooming if requested. I am NOT a professional- but if your dog is (mostly) well behaved I can do bathing, brushing, nail trims, ear cleaning, "grinch feet" trimming & some basic clipping (I have clippers & a corgi who regularly needs all of these things done)

Are they aggressive towards other dogs? Leash aggressive? Certain-people aggressive? (My eldest did not like adult males for the first few years after his rescue) Any quirks? (I.e pretends to have a cough if they want a treat)
A typical day
I really just enjoy being with animals. I am not a dog trainer, but I can and do enforce basic commands (if your pet knows them). If not- that is also OK! Mine have selective command knowledge that usually only shows up if treats are involved. Is your dog a couch potato or maybe a little bit older? Love and attention is also my specialty.

Availability
I am currently searching for my next career move, so am available all weekdays and most weekends. I do have 3 of my own, as well as a horse- so do request some advance notice. I may occasionally be available for last minute needs.
