Before I book new dog clients, I want to have a free meet and greet to get acquainted with your dog(s) and to see if I'm a good fit for the job. With cats, meet and greets are optional but still helpful. I am always very careful not to let any animals escape when I enter or leave your home. I am mindful some animals have specific dietary needs and will only offer treats if you've said it's OK. I don't leave animals unattended when I let them out in the backyard. On walks, I change direction or cross the street to avoid interactions with other dogs. On hot days, I bring water and make sure we take breaks in the shade. I keep doggy waste bags on hand to clean up after your dog when we're on a walk. I write a note in the Rover Card about what activities we did during my visit. I really appreciate if you leave written care instructions, either in the Rover profile, in a note when I visit or in a text to me. I want to offer your animal(s) the love and care they deserve and having written instructions helps me do that. Thank you!
