Experience Dog Owner Puppy-Senior
Pet care experience
I rescued my first dog at just 10 years old and as I got older (and could handle her 55 lb stature), she became more and more my responsibility. I cared for her from 6 months old until her passing at 15 years old. In this time I learned all the basics any dog owner would know, in addition to the delicate care, love and patience a senior dog needs. After her, I walked my CrossFit coach’s 5 year old (and 80 lbs) dog twice a week to help cope with the loss of my own dog. This was great because I could bring him to all the parks and lakes I brought my old dog, and I learned how to handle a much larger dog. But even that wasn’t enough. In January of 2023, I rescued an 8 week old puppy. I crate trained her, took her to doggy school, and continued to care for her until a month ago when I moved out and had to leave her with my parents. Now I’m looking for the opportunity to help you and your canine needs while also filling the dog shaped hole in my own life!
Reviews
Kelly did an amazing job taking care of my dog and cat! Despite them both usually needing some time to warm up to new people, they were very comfortable with her from the start. Kelly would send updates and photos throughout my time away which made it a lot easier to be away from them. If you’re looking for a reliable, accommodating, and friendly sitter I highly recommend Kelly!
Kelly took the time to get more familiar with my two pets and their schedules to prepare for a longer overnight stay! The extra effort and questions about caring for them was much appreciated.
Kelly is great. Zeek I can be a handful. He loved his walk. I will definitely be booking Kelly again.
Dogs are so excited to see her and Beau is always a little shy. she is great with them!

I will care for the dog in my client’s home however they request. This would include couch rules (whether or not they are allowed up on the couch) or feeding hours and I will let the dog out every 2 hours, and walk them at least twice a day.
Information Kelly Y. would like to know about your pet
I’m extremely flexible with the care I can provide so please let me know if your pet is reactive to anything, if they are shy and would prefer no interaction with other pets, or in need of plenty of social interaction!
A typical day
There are plenty of walking paths/ dog parks near my house so I can take your dog on a long walk where they can smell new smells and say hi to other dogs!

Availability
I currently work hybrid, where I’m remote on Mondays and Friday so I am able to house sit, or care for your dog at any point during the day, whether it’s to drop in and let them out, walk them, or dog sit. I work full time in the office Tuesday-Thursday so here I can do let your dog out or walk them in the evening. I’m also available on weekends for either house sitting, dog sitting, drop-ins or dog walking.
