Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Kelly, and I'm here because I literally just love dogs and want to spend as much time as I can with them!! I grew up with 3 dogs who were of all different ages and sizes, thus having very different needs from each other. I have experience in care for elderly dogs and will do everything I can to make your old pup happy! But I love dogs of all ages. I live in a dog-friendly apartment building with a fenced in dog park attached, so if your dog likes to socialize, I got it covered! I am more than happy to accommodate long walks, throwing a ball and playing, or just cuddling and hanging with less active dogs as well. I recently graduated from Emerson College, and am temping here and there, as well as possibly moving jobs to a dog-friendly office, so if your baby can't be left alone and can mellow out in an office space, I'm happy to bring them to work with me, OR I have a SUPER dog lover roommate who is home probably half of the day every day, so they would only be left alone for 2-3 hours. On weekends, I have a really open and flexible schedule and would love to hang with your dog. I'm extremely responsible and will do the absolute best and most for you and your doggie.

Kelly was great from the first conversation via Rover. Hubby and I were taking a last minute weekend road trip to Boston and even though our hotel was able to accommodate our dog, we didn’t want to explore town worrying about walking or feeing our dog plus check-in and check out times since we were also traveling with a baby. Kelly happened to be available and was extremely flexible with our arrival and departure times. She took such good care of our little boy who also got a chance to explore another city. She stayed in touch throughout the time and was such a pleasure to work with! Thank you!

Kelly is a true lover of animals. We have three dogs ranging in size from 20 pounds to 60 pounds, with differing personalities and energy levels. Kelly loves to play with them, run with them and walk with them. She has a firm but gentle way with high energy dogs, and a patience and calmness with more quiet breeds. I am quite confident when she is with my dogs that she will love them, care for them, and be their best friend.

I really would not be able to have a dog in my home that is not potty-trained. Of course accidents happen, and I make absolutely sure the dogs have potty breaks and plenty of outdoor time, but generally I would prefer if they were already started on their potty training journey. I also would like to know if your dog has any behavioral issues--anything they are nervous about, any particular people they are nervous around (kids, etc) and if it's okay that strangers pet them if we are on a walk. No breed preferences, I love all dogs.
A typical day
I'll take your dog on long walks along the esplanade, to the Rose Kennedy Greenway to chill out, and to a big grassy park (Teddy Ebersol Field) near my home to throw a ball / run around! as mentioned before, I live in a dog-friendly community with a fenced in dog park attached to my building so if your dog wants to play with others, there are always dogs and dog toys in there. Other than that -- I will take your dog anywhere he or she wants to accompany me, and if preferred, happy to have cuddle up in my bed at night.
