When I started Rover, I envisioned heaps of dogs and puppies and being best friends with them all because I'm a dog person. To my surprise, I found I was doing far more visits with cats. I love cats, dogs, birds, and pretty much anything with a furry tail. My current pets are a rescue doberman foster dog and a semi-feral outside cat living in my neighborhood. I try to make friends with all the outside cats and trap them to get them spayed or neutered so we don't contribute to additional homeless cats. I always require a meet & greet to make sure you, your animal, and I are a good fit. This means I am not available to new clients on short notice, but once I've watched your animal, I'm normally available with only a few hours' notice. I prefer clients who want daily visits for cats and a minimum of two visits per day for dogs to ensure your animal doesn't have to worry you forgot about her. Even if your cat or dog doesn't worry, I do. I take way too many photos and hope clients love them.
