Pet care experience
Passionate. Patient. Persistent. Pet-lover. These are just a few of the characteristics that describe me. I know each animal is different, and I’ll work with yours to give them the specific guidance they need. Whether you’re thinking about getting an animal, have a new pet, or already own a pet with behavioral problems, I am here to help. I am a Certified Canine Training and Behavior Specialist (CCTBS). I received my education and certification through the Animal Behavior Institute. Credentials can be given upon request. My field experience hours consisted of supervising play groups for a local doggie daycare and boarding business. Beyond a training and behavior education, I also possess dog first aid, nutrition, and enrichment knowledge and experience. I am also a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT).

Kelly has been so wonderful to work with. She responded right away when we were in dire need of another sitter. She worked so hard with Illi and taught her all kinds of new tricks, games, and commands. She made sure Illi got plenty of mental and physical stimulation while we're at work. Illi has come leaps and bounds with the work Kelly has done. Kelly even came by a few times to show me what she'd been doing with Illi so I could also keep practicing with her. Thank you for everything, Kelly!
Kelly was wonderful. My normally shy cats loved her and came out to visit. Every one was happy and looked great when I got home. I especially appreciated the photos and reports of her visits while I was gone. I highly recommend Kelly.
Kelly assisted Judge with a drop by visit, a walk, and greatly exceeded expectation by ensuring a cleaner kennel environment in my absence.. She checked in with status updates regularly. I believe she brings lots of spirit, and a positive attitude. Her professionalism as a mentor extended latitude even further by providing photographs, texts, and guidance that greatly assisted my development as a novice.
Kelly was great with our dogs! She did a drop in for an hour each day and sent lots of pictures of them playing outside which was so nice

Dogs in my care need to have proof of current vaccinations. I will also need a list of any health concerns, special dietary needs, and current medications. It would also be a great benefit to know any behavior problems that we can work on while in my care. Beyond that just simply the dog's likes and dislikes.
A typical day
Whether your dog is a "stay in the neighborhood" or "loves to run in the field" type of dog, I will taylor my visits around what makes him/her happiest! Scent games and scavenger hunts are also fun and provide both mental and physical stimulation. And don't forget "fetch", one of my favorite go-to activities to keep a dog engaged and burn lots of energy! If socialization is what your dog loves, I have dogs under the age of one that would love to play!
