Pet care experience
The first pets I ever sat were my neighbors horses. Soon after, a forest fire came through and I had people bringing me wild rabbits and birds to rehab. The critters have gotten much more standard since - cats, rodents, birds, reptiles, and aquatic friends. My own cat is an old curmudgeon with sad kidneys so I know how important food quality and consistency is. I know not to overfeed fish and can do partial water changes if you'd like.
Reviews
Kelly was amazing! Kelly was very communicative, and gave me updates during my trip away. I will definitely be using her services again!
Kelly is super responsible and will love your kitties with all hear heart. That being said, she has also learned their wily ways and won't fall for their trickery. While we all know how convincing a cat can be when insisting that it has literally never been fed in its whole life Kelly will stand strong and make sure your feline friend doesn't level up their chonkiness in your absence. I would 100% recommend her as an excellent pet sitter!
I used to fill the robot feeder and go away for the weekend without a second thought. My cat was always a little stressed/weepy and clingy when I'd come home. I went away for a full week and had Kelly come over every day to keep him company. When I finally got home, Zim couldn't care less. I'd call that a success! Kelly even rescued my potted fiddleleaf fig. It was down to two very curled leaves on a 5ft stem. She knew what it wanted and it had a big new leaf a month later.

Show me your routine and I'll keep it consistent. I don't allow dogs to jump on me and there are dogs that sit only for me. I have been told that my love language is competence and I love every critter in my care. For house sitting stays, I may bring a guest by for extra company, depending on the critter.
Information Kelly T. would like to know about your pet
Dogs over 20 lbs must already know how to sit and be generally well-behaved in public. If your pup is reactive to men or anything else specific, please let me know.
A typical day
Exploration is always fun! Sometimes that's to check out the new smells at the park. Other times, it's to taste a new stick. Have a fetch champion? We'll do that! Pet rat (or bird)? I'll bring some newspaper to shred into a nest together. Maybe something my cat laid on, so there's an intriguing smell. Fish? You tell me!

Availability
I work a desk job at a nonprofit by day and frequently volunteer for a different nonprofit by night. These take me across a decent swathe of the city including Hillsdale, Brooklyn, Woodstock, Laurelhurst, and Montavilla.
