Pet care experience
I have been volunteering for animal shelters since I was a teenager, and I just completed two years of dog training experience in California, before moving back to DE. I will provide basic obedience training (if you want) on my walks and visits, such as Heel, Wait (going in and out of doors), Leave It, and Sit. If there is a specific issue you want your dog trained on, I'm happy to do that if its in my skill set. I use positive reinforcement and reward based training, to bond with and motivate your dog. I have trained and worked with all breeds and ages, from 8 week old puppies to 14 year old senior dogs. I have very flexible hours. I'd love to meet your fur-baby!

Kelly was kind enough to do a meet and greet before watching our dog Scruffy. Kelly was Scruffy first dogsitter and were always at ease when Kelly watched our dog. Everytime we picked him up, Scruffy would sleep the rest of the day. It was obvious Scruffy is well loved and we appreciate Kelly taking great care of him. We are always comfortable dropping off Scruffy at Kelly house, plus Kelly dog Tango is very friendly and playful.
Kelly was a wonderful dog sitter. She took care of our 2 dogs Merlin & Rikku and made sure they were comfortable. Our dogs have anxiety, but she made sure to give them lots of love. We appreciate the daily photos she sent us of the pups snuggling with her and long walks to the park.
Kelly is a genuine dog-lover. Training dogs with her is a pleasure as well as a constant learning experience. Her open, compassionate heart can adapt to any dog and owner’s needs.

A typical day
I'm happy to walk your dog wherever you'd like, depending on distance. My favorite activity is taking my dog to the beach! If your dog doesn't like to be in the car, I can walk them around your neighborhood. I have taken many of my clients dogs to places like Lowes or Petsmart to work on heeling and focus in a public setting, if you're interested in training. I have a 2 year old Catahoula/Aussie mix named Tango, shes the sweetest girl and loves all dogs, so if you have any interest in a play date during a drop in visit, or a tandem walk, I'm happy to bring her and she would love it!
