Pet care experience
I understand how hard it is to leave your fur babies behind and that you worry about them while you are away. You want a dependable caregiver that you can trust completely. I've been lucky enough to have furry family members my entire life. My husband and I have 2 sets of twins who are now in college so we are newly empty nesters. We also recently lost our fur baby so we have lots of time, love, and care to spare for your precious pups. Prior to joining Rover, I have provided pet care for neighbors, friends, and family for the past 10+ years. My experience includes caring for various dog breeds and ages, senior dog care, special needs care, medical/disease care such as administering shots and meds, and caring for allergies, wounds, and anxiety. I am confident that I can comfortably handle any issues your dog may have with high attention to detail.

Kelly was great with our German Shepherd, Stanley! We felt incredibly comfortable booking 5 days of dog sitting Kelly based on her experience and level of detail and specificity of her initial questions. Kelly welcomed our dog in her home and prioritized his routine to minimize any behavior changes while we were gone. She shared plenty of updates and pictures along the way too! Will definitely be using Kelly’s services again in the future.
Kelly was an amazing sitter! She made us feel at ease as this was our dog Charlie's first time away from family for an extended time. It was clearly evident that our requests were followed and that Charlie was well exercised and had a great time. We looked forward to the daily pictures of him to see what his adventures were that day. It was so comforting to know he was cared for and loved by Kelly and her sweet family.
This was our second time having Kelly watch our dog. She does an amazing job and loves him like her own! We also appreciate all the pictures and videos she sends! We definitely recommend booking with her.
We were so blessed to have found Kelly to watch after Bennett and we highly recommend her! It was evident from our initial meet and greet that Bennett loved Kelly and felt very comfortable in her home as he immediately dug through the basket of toys she had! She was very confident handling Bennett who is a 75lb Goldendoodle and he seemed to listen to her commands quickly upon meeting. We went through all the relevant information from food, crating, do’s/don’ts, etc. which made us feel very relaxed knowing he would be in great hands. When we were on vacation Kelly send updates to us each day with how Bennie was doing overall, what they had been up to and also included photos. This made our trip so much more enjoyable knowing Bennett felt loved and that Kelly was treating him like her own. When we scheduled pick up Kelly went over all the details of Bennett’s stay and even taught him a new trick, how cool is that!! We hope to have Kelly and her family look after Bennett again in the future. THANK YOU Kelly; you’re special and Bennett knows it, too!

Highly attentive to pet needs and schedules, I aim to mimic the schedule and routine your dogs have at home to provide them the most comfort and consistency possible. Whatever rules or allowances you have for your pup at home will be maintained and reinforced so they don't come home with any "new" habits. Unless you or your dogs prefer to use a crate, they are welcome to be free in the house while we are gone. Your pups are welcome on our furniture and our bed, however, there is not enough room for big dogs to sleep in bed with us. Home and yard are chemical-free for pet safety.

Dogs are accepted that are potty trained (having no accidents or piddling), well-behaved, and non-aggressive. A park is in our backyard where lots of dogs play and many people walk their dogs by our house. To be courteous of neighbors, we prefer dogs that are not big barkers if they are outside in the yard. I recommend that we schedule a Meet & Greet so we can learn about each other and make sure we are a good fit. You can tell me all about your dog and what you’re looking for to make this a successful stay. I’ll ask about your dog’s schedule, exercise, and daily routines. We’ll discuss dietary restrictions, medical needs, and other safety-related items. Unfortunately, if your dog has any potty accidents during the meet and greet, I will not be able to sit your dog. ------------------------------------- Please note it is very important to complete your Rover profile by including your Veterinary Contact Info and Special Care Instructions. If you prefer, you can bring a paper form of this documentation to the Meet & Greet. ------------------------------------- Per Rover guidelines, pick-up time should be twenty-four hours from drop-off. I understand travel issues can arise, and I am happy to accommodate your needs. Extended pick-ups will be charged as daycare so your dog will be covered under Rover's insurance after the initial 24-hour period. Daycare rates are $25 for an additional 4 hours or less and $40 for 4-8 additional hours.
A typical day
Your pups will experience a VIP vacation stay. They will play, run and fetch the ball in the park behind our house, go on walks, enjoy quality snuggling and relaxing, belly rubs, or pampered brushing. Dogs that walk nicely on a leash and have basic obedience training will enjoy walks and car rides. If your dog likes to play with other dogs, I have many neighborhood dogs that love to have playdates! You’ll receive lots of photos and updates so you will have peace of mind that your pup is well cared for and having a great time!

Available for dog boarding during the week and weekends. I may work away from home 2 days/week so dogs need to be okay with being alone for 7-8 hours during the day.
