Pet care experience
I am 26 years old & a Memphis native who moved to Birmingham almost 3 years ago. I have been part of a dog-loving family since I was 4 years old. My family currently has a Pomeranian, pit mix, & a golden/husky/something else mix. During my 1st year here, my roommate rescued a puppy who ended up requiring lot of love & medical attention, so I have no problem administering medication or working with your pet’s medical needs. I’m pretty flexible & will accommodate you to the best of my ability. Although I don't have any cats of my own, I would be happy to look after any of your feline friends as well! If you want someone who is not only professional and thorough, reliable and dependable, but also friendly, loving and cares for your animals like they are her own...this is your girl! My Stella is a rescue dog and can be hard to win over....but she loved Kelly from the first time they met! Kelly doesn’t just come by and take your dog out to potty. Although I tried to make her responsibilities as minimal as possible.... She would take Stella on short walks, send me pictures and videos, let me know that she was eating and pottying normally, she would even stay and read a book or watch tv and just let Stella lay with her and have company. She was also quick to show my cats the same attention and love! She really went above and beyond, but most importantly I could tell how much she cared. You will not regret booking Kelly to watch your animals!!
Kelly was great with my pups, house sat for me overnight. Will definitely use her again!

I truly enjoy and love being around animals. If I'm just dropping by for visit or staying overnight, I will take care of the basics (bathroom breaks, food & water, medications), as well as be sure to provide them with the additional love and attention they need. I know every pet is different, so we can be more active and play outside or simply be couch potatoes together. I always strive to leave someone's home better than I found it, as well as follow any rules or preferences you have regarding how I enter and lock up afterwards. I will notify you if there are any issues or concerns immediately. My goal is to make your pet(s) feel as comfortable and safe as possible while I'm there, as well as alleviate any anxiety either of you may have while you're away.

A typical day
Walks, visits to dog parks (if nearby & the owner is comfortable with this), cuddles while watching tv, belly scratches, hanging out & whatever else they may enjoy
