As a previous pug momma, I know that most doesn’t realize they’re not human. They are snuggly, gassy little clowns :) They will get sad if they’re isolated in a kennel while you take your week/weekend trip. A pug that stays with our family will have no shortage of snuggles & people time! My husband says no dogs on the furniture but I’ve been known to sneak puggies into a blanket beside me. I have experience with senior pugs & diabetic pugs as well. I understand that proper food measurement is important as well as insulin storage & administration. Taking blood readings is not problem either & I can keep a log if you wish. We have a two story home but there is a baby gate upstairs if dog needs assistance with stairs.
