My name is Kelly. I grew up in the town of Park Ridge, but currently live in Westwood. I have been a petsitter/house sitter for 25 years (more than half of my life!!!). I am available for Doggy Day Care where I care for your pet in my home any time in the morning to any time you can pick them up in the afternoon/evening. I am also available to schedule boarding overnight in my home -OR- where I stay and take care of your pet and your home while you are away for a set amount of days. Throughout my career, I have experience working with pets that have demanding nutritional needs, such as cooking fresh meals to strictly follow any pet’s own individual meal plans. I have had a lot of experience working with senior dogs & dogs with disabilities. Also, I have worked with pets that had an array of medical needs that required medication. Therefore, I have a wealth of experience administering oral medications, eye drops, ear drops, topical creams & gels, and medication given via intramuscular injection (injections given in the muscle of your pet). I have taken classes and have been certified by the American Red Cross to provide the Heimlich Maneuver -&- I am Pet CPR certified!!! I also have experience working as a dog groomer, however, a lot of time has passed since I have groomed in the salon. Once I start reviewing my notes and clip a couple of dogs/cats, it will all come back to me. *THEN* I will offer the “more involved” Grooming Services. However, if you need a simple shave down or a simple trim to tidy everything up, I’d be more than happy to provide that for you. That would be absolutely no problem at all!
