My name is Kelly and I live in 12th South with my husband, 6 year old son and 3 year old daughter. Being a stay at home mom with my daughter makes me very flexible. I grew up with animals and I have always been very passionate about animals of all kinds. I have rescued all of my dogs, and one cat, as well as volunteered in shelters and fostered, and think it's so important to save these animals in need. I am very dependable and easy to get along with, pretty laid back but very organized and do enjoy some structure in my life- as much as I can get with two crazy little ones and two dogs! I would love to help you out and give you some relief that your dog(s) are being well taken care of, whether it be for a break during a work day or while you are gone on vacation. I worked as a dog sitter part time while living in Atlanta and have also taken care of my family’s dogs on many occasions while they are working or out of town. As I mentioned we have fostered in the past and I have also volunteered at shelters while in college. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a family dog who passed away when I was in college. During my time in college I rescued my first dog of my own; she was my everything. Unfortunately I lost her at the young age of 5 to lymphoma. Within a month my husband and I rescued another dog, Penelope, who we still have today. We fostered a puppy but put that on hold after the birth of our first son and haven’t taken that roll on again yet. My experience administering medication Yes I am comfortable administering medication. I would like to know how the dog does taking it before I began, but I have given medications to dogs in the past and am comfortable doing so.
