Hi, I am Kelly and I have always had dogs and mostly rescues. As a kid I always had at least two dogs in my life. I travel too much to have a permanent dog of my own so instead I foster rescues and now in my spare time will watch your favorite pooch too!

I am set up for fostering so I have an adjustable feeder, beds, blankets, toys, treats, pretty much whatever your dog needs besides food and meds. I live in a 3 story detached condo, so your pet must be able to navigate at least one flight of stairs. I can work on training if you'd like. Because I foster I maintain alpha with most of my dogs, I am always in charge but they get all the love and cuddles they want! I work from home on Fridays but there is plenty of time for attention, I know that ball won't throw itself!

Mainly I just need to know their overall schedule, if they are social and if they have any major likes or dislikes, i.e. they do not like the delivery people at all, the door bell sets them off for hours, those kinds of major interruptions in their lives. I know its hard enough for you both to be apart I want to make it as easy on them as we can.
A typical day
I live near a park that has two dog parks, so if they are social and you are comfortable we can expend energy there, if not there are plenty of walking paths through the park itself and around my neighborhood! They must be able to walk on a leash since I do not have a yard. I have plenty of toys to throw or engage them with if the weather is bad and we are stuck inside for exercise.

My fostering schedule is typically three walks a day, 20-30 minutes each, feedings twice a day and plenty of play! I am used to adjusting schedules to fit dogs needs so just tell me what you need and I bet I can accommodate it. If your dog is used to being at an office or if they are used to being home by themselves while you are at work I can arrange a longer stay, just contact me.
