I just wanna hang out with your dog

Pet care experience

Hello Milwaukee:) I have had experience taking care of dogs and cats alike since I was in high school, babysitting, giving medicine, walking, etc. After high school I worked at a doggy day care/boarding full time while going to school for vet assistant. After I graduated college, I worked at an ER for a couple years and then decided that the clinic life was for me. I love what I do so much. Although I miss playing with the dogs at the doggy day care, I also love taking care of the animals at my current job. Helping them, and trying to make them as comfortable as possible when they are in an unfamiliar place without their owners. I wanted to add too that I will trim your dogs nails or express their anal glands if needed (if they let me of course!) I love trimming nails and I know the vet and groomer can charge around $30 for just a nail trim. If your dog is good I will do the nail trim for free! My husband will be accompanying all walks and drop ins :) I CANNOT WAIT TO MEET YOU AND YOUR DOG!!

Kelly, thank you very much for dropping in on Zeus with such a short notice! We can tell from the picturea that he had a blast and was well taken care of!

My family has known Kelly for a while and from an early age, she’s been an animal lover from the beginning. We’ve left our last 4 dogs and our 2 current pups with Kelly because we know that she will provide a sense of security and loving when she’s watching after our dogs. She’s timely and also extremely helpful with animal knowledge that my family is not too familiar with (since she is a veterinarian technician). We know that if there were to be an issue with one of our furry family members, Kelly would be responsible and trustworthy in knowing what is best for our pups and what can be done to help them. We’re excited that she’s taking this next step in animal care by providing her services to the animal community and we are assured that she will be a wonderful asset to any family seeking an assistant to their furry loved ones!

Kelly is an amazing person and a wonderful pet lover. She always takes great care of her three dogs. Always reliable and trustworthy. Definitely recommend Kelly to take care of any animals you’d have. (:

Kelly is very good with our dogs, we have three and all three love her!! They have been around her since they were puppies and trust her!! Our male morkie gets eye crusties around his eyes and he lets Kelly clean them out for him with her little tool, he looks fabulous afterwards. She is definitely a caring person!! We trust her 100%

When we go on walks, I did order a large harness with heavy sacks on the sides, to help with wearing the crazy ones out faster. And obviously we would bring water and treats if allowed. :)

Information Kelly R. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, medical conditions or behaviors to watch out for. Also an important piece of information about your dog that would be helpful is what kind of experience has your pup had with other dogs? Also does your dog have any triggers or things they are afraid if they might see on their walk (i.e. men, loud noises, bikes) If you plan on getting a nail trim with the walk, I will also need to know how they behave for that as well! :)

A typical day

Walking your dog is very important both for their physical and mental health. If there is a park near by your house we will definitely be taking a stroll around there :) Letting your dog sniff around on the walk is a great way to tire them out as well because sniffing is keeping your dogs mind busy. :) I will not walk dogs in over 85 degree weather or below 20 degrees depending on age, breed, size and coat!
