Pet care experience
I have always loved animals. I have been a volunteer at the local shelter for over 4 years. I have experience with giving medications to cats and dogs. I have worked with senior and special needs pets. I am the go to pet sitter for my friends and family.

I have worked with Kelly for several years at a local animal shelter. She is our anxious dog specialist. Whenever we have a pup that is scared, apprehensive, or doesn't seem to respond to anyone else, we turn to Kelly. She has a slow, claming approach that helps many of our most stressed shelter residents to relax. I would confidently trust her with my own pets and highly recommend her!
Dear. Rover, You will be bless to have Kelly as your dog walker. As her leader in the Parma Animal Shelter I depend on Kelly to take care of most difficult dogs as in deaf dogs, dogs with health issues and no manners dogs. She is so gentle and patient with these dogs that I Count on her on every Sunday shift. Also she likes nature so she takes the dogs on long walks and she’s really patient with them. I’ve known Kelly for several years and she is exceptional with my family and our dog, Denali. She is always attentive, reliable, and fantastic with animals! Just recently, prior to leaving for a week long trip my dog became very ill and was needing several medications at specific times, a special diet and close supervision. Kelly offered to take care of our very sick dog and I knew, without hesitation, Denali would be in the best hands. Kelly provided regular updates and when we got home had a checklist with all the medications, special food, time outside etc. I highly recommend Kelly- she is absolutely fantastic!
Kelly is a loving and caring pet parent herself. She has two well trained dogs, fosters dogs and volunteers at her local shelter. She’s prompt and reliable.

I care for pets as if they are my own children. I walk them on leash or if there is a fenced in yard I stay with them and monitor them. I have taken safety courses with my shelter volunteer experience.

It is important to share your dog’s temperament with me. If they are skiddish or nervous this is important to know ahead of time so that I will know to move slowly. If there is a place that they do not like to be touched, or if something hurts please let me know. If they are praise driven or food motivated that is helpful to know as well. If they are on medications, have certain conditions, have allergies these are all important to know.
A typical day
I like to take dogs on walks and allow them the smell all of the smells. This stimulates them mentally. I like to take them to a nearby park for walking and sniffing. If you have a fenced in yard I like to use off leash play like fetch to also stimulate your pet.

I work a 4 day work week so I am available most fri-sun. I am an early riser so I would be able to take morning strolls.
