My day job is as a full-time Realtor, which provides me a lot of flexibility with my schedule. I have an undergraduate degree from Ohio State in Zoology and have a Registered Veterinary Technician license that I maintain currently. I am a pit bull Mom, and former Board member of a local non-profit animal rescue where I oversaw the dog adoption program and was the medical director. I have extensive experience with dogs- having personally fostered 150+ dogs and puppies- many of which had medical issues. I have also owned (and fostered) cats, house rabbits and pocket pets. I have limited experience with birds- Amazons, Conures, Cockatiels, Parakeets, but not large parrots (although I'm not opposed). I now have 2 dogs (James Dean and Reed) and 1 super senior cat (age 19!). I spent many years owning and fostering house rabbits, and am very knowledgeable when it comes to their care and health concerns. I am able to give medications (oral and injectible), am experienced with "challenging" canines, and am an excellent dog walker. I just really love animals.
