I adopted my second dog July of 2021 when I moved to NOLA & have been very involved with that rescue since and have wanted to expand the ways in which I can be involved with more dogs which is why I decided to join Rover. I've always used this app as a way to find help with my own dogs and am excited to do the same for others. I have fostered dozens of dogs in the past 2-years with a wide range of breeds, ages, temperaments, and unique quirks. My dogs combined weigh 135lbs and get walked 3 times a day together so I'm very comfortable with taking care of big & strong dogs. I'm trusted with other rescue volunteers to check-in/walk/transport their fosters whether it's a litter of puppies, a dog with resource guarding issues, or just hanging out during the day with a dog that has separation anxiety. I work from home in Algiers so I can be flexible with walking or checking-in on your dog. I'm also happy to work from your home for the day (or part of it) if that's something you would be interested in. If you need overnight care, I'm happy to watch the dogs in your home where they will feel the most comfortable!

If I will be staying in your home to watch your dog, I will walk them twice a day minimum (if they are happy with that) or get them stimulation/exercise in the way you recommend included with the nightly rate. I can be home with your dogs as close to 24/7 as possible if that's what you/they prefer! I will always be respectful of your space, leave it in the condition I found it, and be available to be reached by phone at any hour to give you updates as needed! I'm very picky with who I trust to watch my dogs and always do a meet & greet first, so I'm very happy to do the same for you and your dogs to make sure you are comfortable with me as a dog walker/sitter!

I'm comfortable with any breed and any size dog. If your dog has any quirks such as being timid around new people, resource guarding food/toys/etc., or has triggers that make them aggressive - I'd just like to know ahead of time and make sure we do a meet & greet to earn their trust!
A typical day
My favorite thing to do is walk dogs so I will be more than happy to take them around your neighborhood or if you're in Algiers, to Brechtel park to explore. I can take your dog to the dog park for socialization, walk them along the waterfront, whatever they prefer!

Availability
I'm up early every day with my dogs so I can be at your house as early as 6am for walks or check-ins any day of the week. I work full time but have flexibility with my schedule so I will just need 1-2 days notice to make sure I don't have any meetings that would interfere with when you need help and happy to do same-day service if my schedule allows! My work days usually wrap by 3:30pm and I can be available until 9pm or later if needed!
