My name is Kelly, and I have been an elementary school teacher for 7 years. This summer, my schedule will be quite flexible. I have grown up with dogs, and my husband and I trained our strong-willed shepherd mix from 10 weeks to be a well trained 5 year old. I would love to bring her to my jobs so that she can make new friends! If your dog is not friendly with other dogs that is no problem. My pup will stay at home. I am comfortable with all sizes of dogs, and I have no problem being firm with a strong-willed dog. My dog is 60 lbs with a mind of her own, so I am used to it. I have a friendly, happy pup who loves to play. We have a fenced in backyard and no children. We also have a large crate that can be used when we are out of the house and/or overnight if needed.

Let me know if your dog does not get along with others. That would be a deal breaker for overnight sitting at my house, as we have a dog. Of course, let me know of any medical needs your dog has or if they have any quirks, like impressive fence jumping, that I should know about. It’s also helpful to know what a typical day/routine looks like for your dog.
A typical day
I’m up for anything based on your dog’s energy level and preferences! Fetch, tug of war, long walks, sweet snuggles, you name it. I love taking my dog to the Westminster open space off-leash dog park off of Simms and 100th. If your dog is off leash trained I’m happy to take him or her there.

I am available for daytime check-ins and walks as well as longer term care. Dates and timing dar flexible. I would prefer to keep your pup at my house if you require multiple days of care.
