Pet care experience
I have owned dogs most of my life and they have always played an integral part of my family. I currently have two beautiful pups that would enjoy frolicking with furry friends as much as possible! I would love to provide a safe and healthy environment for other dogs that would encourage stimulation, socialization and fun! Kelly has also owned dogs most of her life. Though my schedule varies week to week, Kelly's is consistent, as she works from our home, and this is how we can confirm that someone will always be home with your dog, 24/7. **Our guests are never left alone** Two sitters for the price of one! Our two dogs, Nancy Drew & EB, are a pug/beagle and boston terrier/pug mix. We live in a two story, two bedroom townhouse with lots of room to run around or just lounge. The Bay trail is less than a block for wonderful strolling. And we live on a pond with lots of ducks and birds for the pups viewing pleasure. We also have a nice size patio for sunbathing on beautiful days. As a healthcare professional in the critical care setting, I know how to provide loving and compassionate care for all types. You can rest assured that your dog will be in caring and loving hands while you are busy. You’ll love our flexible drop off and pick up availability! Dogs will enjoy being part of a larger pack and benefitting from rules and limitations with consistent guidance. We will build a stable, trusting relationship because of my calm demeanor, petting and playful attention. When not pet sitting, we go bike riding, camping, hiking, and sometimes simply just enjoy quiet time on the sofa with a good book!
Reviews
Our doggie feels right at home with Rachel & Kelly! They take such good care of her & update us everyday with photos.
The best! So sad we are leaving the Bay Area and won’t have Kelly and Rachel anymore to watch Mochi.
Nike stayed with Kelly and Rachel over the Jul 4th week. Prior to the stay, Nike had a series of issues including limping and incessant licking of his paws. We've seen the vet and has a whole long list of care instructions for him. I gave Rachel heads up that this time around, he is going to need a lot more care than prior stays. I wanted to be sure that they are ok caring for him, else I would cancel my trip. They assured me that they will take good and loving care of him. I couldn't have found a better sitter than Kelly and Rachel. They provided me with daily updates and pictures and even went to the vet to pick up medication for Nike. We picked up Nike in much better shape than when we dropped him off. Thank you for all the love and care you've given to Nike. Deeply appreciated.
My pup stayed for over a week with them and I loved all the updates! I could really tell how happy she was the whole trip and I’m so glad I found them!

Information Kelly M. & Rachael R. would like to know about your pet
*****Dogs must be 100% potty trained to go outside. We are outside frequently throughout the day, just before bed and bright & early every morning. We make sure to set up all of our guests for success. Accidents should not be an issue. Inside potty pad trained is not an option. Sorry, but dogs that mark or have accidents will not be welcome back. Thank you ******* A few questions we like to ask before a stay include: How often does your pup board or daycare? Has your dog ever bitten another dog or person or been bit themselves? What special needs might they have? What is their usual diet and allowable treats? Is there any food or toy aggression? Fears and/or causes of anxiety? What makes them most happy in life? We will attempt to duplicate their routine at home as much as possible for a stay without anxiety. If they sleep on the bed-done. Or stay off furniture-done. Eat a special diet or at a special time-done. Need a special blanket-done. The most important thing to us is that everyone has a great time! We always meet-n-greet prior to stays. Please try to leave ample time before booking so that we can make sure everyone will be a good fit and we can all get to know each other. We meet at a local dog park so that we can see how your pet interacts with other animals. We have found that having the dogs off leash for this activity gives us the best insight into how the dogs interact. We look forward to meeting you and your little furball. Thank you so much for considering us!

On a stay with us, we’ll be sure to keep your pup as active as possible for each individual! We will go on neighborhood walks if that’s okay with your pawrents and we’ll have lots of playtime both inside and out. Tug, fetch and maybe learn a few new tricks! And if it’s ok, we can go hiking or head to the park! The Bay trail is just around the corner for leisurely strolling.
