Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs in my life since I can remember. We currently have 2 older dogs and 2 young very sweet cats. I’m always the first to volunteer to watch friends pets while on vacation so I figured I’d add it as a part-time gig. I’m on Rover to meet and care for pets and not so much to make extra money. I am happy to reduce fees for return clients. I have experience with a variety breeds including higher maintenance breeds such as bulldogs (daily cleaning etc), pugs who may require daily medicine and attention to their breathing, high energy small dogs such as chihuahuas and Pomeranians as well as high energy pitbull breeds. I am experienced with older dogs and those who need daily medication. I have experience with diabetic dogs needing insulin as subcutaneous injections and watching for hypoglycemia.

Kelly is absolutely fantastic! She's so kind and really cares for our animals. When we had a family emergency, she responded and took on our pet sitting request within minutes so we didn't have to stress about leaving our animals. I highly recommend her, and so do our pets!

I treat clients’ pets as I would my own pets! I am a very animated person and love interacting and playing with animals and ensuring they get enough daily activity for their minds and bodies. My own dogs go on multiple short walks a day and one long walk towards the end of the day. My dogs have free range of the house and plenty of couch and bed space to keep watch on the neighborhood. I treat pets as I would family and I will treat your pets the exact same way. I strive to ensure let’s feel loved, acknowledged and enriched while their humans are away and give plenty of snuggles, pets and playtime! I am also from a fully COVID vaccinated home and also received a booster dose recently.

I’m flexible with all dogs. I enjoy watching dogs that have high energy and need exercise outside the home but I will also give low energy dogs lots of pets, belly rubs, brushing, and indoor play.
A typical day
I will add in daily walks for each visit, or atleast once a day - I will work with the client on what your specific needs are while away and will remain flexible. If your dog loves long walks (3+ miles) I would be happy to do that! If your dog just needs to be let outside, I will be outside with them, encouraging them to go potty/poo but also running around with them to help them get their daily exercise.
