Pet care experience

Hi there! My name is Kelly, and I have been a dog sitter for dozens of different families over the past eight years. I have looked after dogs ranging in size, from a Jack Russel Terrier to a Burmese Mountain Dog. I've looked after multiple dogs in once, cared for dogs ranging in age from puppy to senior, and have loved every one of them. My work with animals has included long walks, overnight visits, providing medication, and making sure all the dogs are happy and safe. I grew up with at least two spaniels throughout my childhood, and now have rescue cats that are convinced they're dogs. I love animals of all shapes, sizes and temperaments, and would be more than happy to look after them. If need be, I can include references. Have a great day!

Kelly was absolutely stellar! She was extremely friendly, communicative, and more than kind to our dog. We did a before hand meet-&-greet so our dog and Kelly could have a chance to get to know each other prior to the stay - they instantly hit it off and it is apparent how much Kelly cared for our dog and would for your pet as well. She was responsive and respectful of our dog's particular needs and that built a level of trust for us with her. We would happily ask Kelly to watch our dog in the future!

Kelly did such a great job taking care of our cat Patches! She was timely and sent us pictures to put us at ease while we were away, and gave us updates on her food, water, etc. We hope to book Kelly in the future as we know Patches will be in great hands!

I've been Kelly's roommate at American University for two years, and she has been holding dog sitting jobs for as long as I've known her! She visits the dogs every day and takes them for walks, plays with them and feeds them. Those dogs are like family to her, and she loves them all to bits. She'll take great care of your dog!

I'd like to know what kind of personality the dog has. My dogs growing up were very loving, timid, gentle and extremely playful-I know how important it is to know a dog's personality, especially if it is one I'm not used to. I don't have any breed preferences (I love them all!) but I have an especially big soft spot for big dogs.

A typical day

I live in NoMa, which has plenty of beautiful parks and neighborhood doggos. My favorite places to go are the the Swampoodle park and MBT trailts.
