I was raised with and have had 5 dogs in my lifetime, rescues and mixes most of them and I know how to show a dog a good time and make them feel comfortable and free, which I always try very hard to do. I will make sure they are safe at all times and give them plenty of exercise, mostly running or biking at the fenced-in beach nearby, and food and water. Some dogs won't eat their normal food away from home, in that case I feed some of my own dogs' food, Blue Buffalo, after trying hard and giving time to get them to eat their own. When eating and when I am away, my dogs will be separated from your dogs in case protectiveness and jealousy arises. I'm not afraid of dogs because of my experiences which helps me communicate with them more as a friend. I know two ways to tell a dog no, with a bark of a command or with a gentle pawing of the nose at an opportune time. I love to train them with well timed and placed treats as well but I believe you need to be able to tell the dog when he's doing something he shouldn't do. I have no problem being an alpha to a dog but I try to be an equal or a neutral supporter. I have watched many dogs of all kinds and ages interact with one another and I understand what actions mean what to them and how you can train them in the meaning of actions and show them what to do. I will scratch your dogs itches, I will do what I can to deal with his or your problems. I've been on my own with my own dog for almost 6 years now and I got a new one a year ago. I've grown close to every dog I've met and quickly had a way with them, never any lasting problems. Brushing teeth, clipping nails, bathing, and combing are things I love to do for them for a small fee. I am busy Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 4 to 9 but any other time should be good for anything. I don't like using a crate but will. Each dog will be given comfortable beds and safe places to lay. My dog Neo is going blind in two different ways and has PTSD from childhood but he's really normal most of the time though he get's a little protective he has no intention to harm but has the intention to scare, all bark no bite, he's really very sweet and great with any dog he meets on good terms. He can't stand yappy dogs so I don't bother taking care of them. If your dog barks a little that's fine, just not the small high-pitched repetitive barks that seem like their trying to talk like a young child in a stroller who is learning words. Neo also has problems with very energetic bigger dogs, though it isn't common for big dogs to have so much energy, if they are puppies they might and I can't take care of them because their constant movement will keep Neo on edge. Other than that, there shouldn't be any problems. Good luck finding a sitter and I hope you have fun doing whatever you are doing without your dogs.
