Pet care experience
I have had pets all my life and currently have my own 3 year old Labrador and 8 year old tabby cat. Before moving here I worked with service dogs in training, California sea lions, Pacific harbor seals, African black footed penguins, Asian small clawed otters, and assorted birds and reptiles; I always have lots of smells on me that my doggy clients are very interested in! All of the skills I have gained working hands-on with exotic animals have made me a better care giver for my dogs, and I would love to share those skills with yours. I am very excited to have the opportunity to get to know your pets and treating them as my very own while you're away!

This was the first time that we used Kelly to watch our zoo of two dogs and two cats. She did an amazing job. She checked in with us when she was at our house, gave regular updates and sent regular text photos of our pets which was reassuring when you're out of town. Pets are furry children and it's nice to know that you can leave them with someone you trust, not to mention taking care of your house as well. Thanks Kelly!

I make sure that all doors and windows are secure and that I have eyes on all pets before opening the door. All dogs are securely leashed when on walks at all times.

I would like to know the dog's energy level, what gets them excited, if they are food or tactile motivated, if they are aggressive to other dogs or people, any health issues, and what makes them unique. Anything that would help me take better care of your dog I would love to know.
A typical day
I love taking the dogs I care for on walks and to the beach. If your pup prefers to stay home, we will have a great time cuddling and watching a movie! If your dog needs some help in the training department I would be happy to set up private training sessions apart from my stay to help out with some of the basics.

I am available for daily walks and drop in visits. I would prefer to meet your pets before the first walk/drop in to get to know them and make sure everyone is comfortable.
