Animals generally like me and we get along well due to my gentle nature, but we also know how to have fun! I can learn to give medicine and have experience with my own animals, learn to work on specific commands, and enjoy a challenge. It is necessary to put the needs of the animals before our own sometimes and flexibility is key when working with cats and dogs. Not every animal is in a mood to play or listen all the time, just like people, and I must be sensitive to the behaviors to determine how best to proceed. Dogs and cats can tell us so much if we pay attention.
