I am first and foremost an animal lover. I've had dogs my entire life. I have experience with everything from the everyday walking/feeding/scooping poop to having to administer meds and needing to keep them calm after a surgery or illness. I foster kittens for the humane society and am no stranger to emergencies. With my own dog, a little over a year, ago she had to have emergency surgery after her stomach twisted. There were complications and she wound up in the hospital for 5 days. After she came home (with her cone of shame) I had to administer 7 different meds at various times of day for 2 weeks. It was also up to me to remove her pain patch that was stapled to her skin. I think of my pets as my short furry kids (I don't have any human children of my own) and I think of my fosters in the same manner. I will go to any lengths for them. I would love to make your beloved pet/fur kid a part of my extended family and take the best care possible of them :)
