I'm a dog lover at heart - from growing up with two dogs to now raising two of my own. As much as I want to adopt and rescue every dog I meet, that's just not possible (and my husband may divorce me!). This is how I started taking care of dogs professionally over the last 2 years. I can't imagine a better way to spend my free time than with other dogs who need some extra love and attention while their humans are away. Plus, at the end of the day, dogs do not need us nearly as much as we need them. Over the last 2 years I've worked on Rover, a daycare/boarding company, and a rescue organization. I've taken care of puppies, including my own high-energy fur-ball (Maeve), dogs with a seizure condition, administered medication, and spent relaxing leisure time with wiser pups. I also have a medical background working with psychiatric / neurology patients and worked as a medical assistant with experience in wound care. I'd be happy to help manage any medical conditions that your pup may have.
