The first time I met Kelly we both came to a volunteer program in New Orleans at Villalobos Rescue Center. We bonded over our love and compassion for animals, and for the week we were there she spent every moment with all the dogs just giving them as much attention as she possibly could. She understands how to handle different personalities of all the various breeds of rescues that come through the gates of Villalobos. She knows that not every dog is the same, some can be scared in a new environment and some will get overly excited-but with a calm and gentle approach I have no doubt that any dog Kelly meets..will soon become her new best friend. I wish we lived in the same state so I could use her as a doggy sitter for my two pups-because I can’t think of anyone better than Kelly!
